On February 14, 2021, I tried a spiced drink that was completely foraged!
tabIn my Ethnobotany class, a friend gifted me a "create your own acorn-latte kit". It consisted of ingredients that were naturally gathered from within Ohio. I made plans on Valentine's Day to make the drink with some friends. It was delicious! I had never tried spicebush berries before, but it was a very strong spice that paired beautifully with the toasted acorn grinds. I was inspired by this environmentally friendly drink and hope to further these foraging beginnings. More importantly, I strengthened friendships and was able to try something new!
