Each player organizes their six pieces on their respective side of the board.
(A maximum of 2 players are allowed in each team's own Goalie Box)
The Ball is placed in the middle of the board.
Players roll for who goes first.
Players take turns rolling a die and making that number of moves.
For a move, you can choose to either move one of you pieces or the ball.
When moving a ball, choose a direction to slide along the board. The ball moves that way until obstructed by either a player or the side of the board. Below is an example.
When moving a player, pieces can move one space, vertically or horizontally, as long as that space is vacant. Below is an example.
(This is a strong defensive play because your opponent cannot score next turn)
I originally had the idea for this game in middle school and slowly developed it throughout high-school and college. It contains a unique balance of strategy and chance, all centered around the narrative of soccer.
